About

We’ve moved back to Madison Ave! Our new address is 764 Madison Ave between 65th & 66th Streets. We are open by appointment only from July - August. Regular hours to be announced after Labor Day.

Founded in 1989 on the Upper East Side, HG Fine Art began as Hubert Gallery and operated on the corner of Madison Ave and 80th Street for over three decades. The gallery was known for its superb offerings of signed editions and works on paper by Modern and Post-war artists such as Matisse, Miro, Picasso, Calder, Hockney and Lichtenstein.

Today, the gallery specializes in contemporary emerging and mid-career artists who take inspiration from the great American and European Impressionist/Realist painters - artists such as Sargent, Turner, Whistler, Hopper and Wyeth. With a nod to art history, our artists seek to expand the language of late 19th/early 20th C painting with the creation of works that speak to contemporary audiences.

HG Fine Art prides itself on offering personalized support in all aspects of art collecting. Please contact us to be notified of our gallery exhibitions.
