HG Fine Art is pleased to present Geoffrey Johnson: New York, As I see It, an exhibition of twelve new paintings of New York by contemporary impressionist painter Geoffrey Johnson. From uptown to downtown, subjects range from Fifth Ave and Central Park to the Old Town Bar and McSorley’s Old Ale House. This recent body of work is inspired by the artist’s own personal experiences of the city. They each evoke a sense of anonymity while inviting the viewer to bring their own narrative to each scene.
